Telemedicine and Video Calls

Chattanooga Spine and Body is able to provide remote office visits through telemedicine and online video services. Telemedicine visits allow the ability to see and talk with the doctor remotely, which can be convenient for those that may be limited by time, ability, or distance. These services can be provided through various video apps, such as Zoom, Meet, or Facetime.

The convenience of a video visit.

Although video/telemedicine visits do offer convenience, there are limits to the information that can be gathered remotely. Diagnoses and prescriptions will be limited for new patients until they are able to come in to the office for an in-person physical exam and review of records. A video call may be a good choice for those who may want some medical advice, but may not feel a full medical evaluation is needed.
